We have a new role in our corporate governance risk and compliance team for an Enterprise Risk Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance, the Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for leading the development and the implementation of Governance and Enterprise Risk Management for eHealth NSW.
The Enterprise Risk Manager will collaborate with HealthShare NSW, the Ministry of Health and wider NSW Health system to deliver sound Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance.
What you will do:
- Lead the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a robust and best practice enterprise-wide risk management framework in accordance with risk management principles and standards and to comply with NSW Health Policy.
- Establish and maintain an Enterprise Risk register to foster sound risk management clear reporting.
- Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders for Enterprise Risks.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the Governance and Compliance team.
- Develop and implement information and record management systems, including the policies and procedures for record maintenance in line with legislative and other policy requirements.
- Manage operational issues to ensure continuous effective service.
- Deliver expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging compliance, risk, and governance issues, negotiate and manage stakeholder relationships, presenting recommendations to achieve good governance and risk management.
About you
The skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Demonstrated extensive experience and an outstanding record of achievement in leading corporate Governance and Enterprise Risk Management in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
- Experience in identifying Enterprise Risk and analysing risks using root cause analysis. Experience in discussing identified risks with Senior Managers and at Executive and Board level.
- Experience of ServiceNow and Enterprise Risk management platforms is desirable.
- Proven engagement, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the capability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Superior written communication skills with proven skills in writing complex reports, briefings, external correspondence, policies, and procedures.
