The Digital Information Specialist will play a role in managing Digital Information that is in line with the strategic direction of the Victorian Government and the overall digital transformation of the organisation. This position will assist in the design of business systems that prioritise digital record keeping, ensuring that record management requirements are incorporated into the system's design.
Additionally, the Digital Information Specialist will offer expertise in managing information in accordance with relevant legislation and industry standards. This includes analysing and evaluating business needs and addressing any related issues.
We are seeking 2 full-time positions:
- 1x full time ongoing position available.
- 1x full time fixed term up to 31 January 2026 position available.
About you:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Experience in implementing Electronic Document and Records Management or Enterprise Content Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting transitioning from physical records to Digital Information management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret information from numerous sources, prepare and present analyses.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills when engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
- A tertiary qualification in Information Management, Records Management or equivalent professional experience (mandatory)
