The Opportunity
Based at our Rockdale Transfer Station, we are looking for an Operator to join the team in a full time, permanent capacity.
- Operate onsite plant and equipment as required (Loader and Excavator)
- Take ownership of plant machinery eg. Pre and post start checks
- Direct traffic within the transfer station and provide general information to customers as required
- Control the placement of waste and recyclables being deposited by customers so to maximise resource recovery
- Meet targets for recycling and diversion of waste from landfill
- Maintain all buildings, grounds, roadways and landscaping in a clean and tidy condition at all times
- Undertake general labouring and administrative duties as directed
About You
- Loader and excavator experience – desired but not essential
- LF forklift licence - desired but not essential
- Excellent work ethic and attitude
- Strong commitment to safety
- Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
