Sunwater is looking for an Operator Maintainer, based at Leslie Dam near Warwick. In this Entry Level position, you will develop skills and grow within the business, learning all aspects relating to water supply infrastructure activities.

You Will:
- Positively promote and actively role model the Sunwater values and behaviours to support the delivery of our services
- Ensure that all activities are undertaken in compliance with Environmental and WH&S requirements and relevant Sunwater policies, standards, and business rules
- Foster and maintain good working relationships with water supply customers, internal and external clients, and fellow workers
- Undertaking preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance work to the required standard and within the required timeframes, where required.
- Undertaking fault analysis and implementing solutions to operational and maintenance issues.
About You:
We are looking for someone with good verbal and written communications skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships. You will have basic administrative skills, including the ability to use relevant computer programs. You will hold a class ‘C’ driver’s licence for manual vehicle/or ability to gain within 6 months, plus have a level of physical fitness to perform the manual task requirements of the position, be able to swim, and after completing the required training, work in confined spaces and maintain competency in confined space and rescue. In addition, you will have demonstrated technical skills in:
- Assisting with the monitoring of water levels and flows to meet customers water orders and demand
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively
- The ability to organise and prioritise own tasks, to develop and implement solutions to routine problems, to operate effectively in a changing environment with peak workload demands, and to apply safe and environmentally responsible work practices
