About the position
As a Entry Level Training Officer you will learn to ensure compliance with training protocols critical to our success. You will be pivotal in onboarding, arranging site inductions, and mobilising our employees to various projects and sites. Your job is to ensure that all Wisely and client requirements are met and that we achieve compliant business outcomes. By collaborating closely with our recruitment and Workforce Planners, you will help ensure that our employees are fully prepared and equipped to meet the demands of their assigned roles.
Reporting to the Workforce Planner, duties will include but not limited to:
- Assist in identifying and analysing the training needs of employees across various projects.
- Assist in supporting individual employees in achieving training goals.
- Assist the workforce planner in aligning tailored Training with business needs.
- Maintain training relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.
- Book external training and coal board medicals for employees and assist with VOCs and RPLs where required.
- Complete business credit card reconciliations as needed.
- Raise Purchase Orders for approved Training.
- Manage ordering of Wisely uniforms and provide required PPE as per site requirements.
- Certificate II Business (Preferred)
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills
- The ability to multi-task
- Be able to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Understanding of confidentiality and being a part of a close working team
- Communications skills both verbally and written
- Full training in the role
