About the role:
HanRoy are currently looking to recruit 2 Environmental Advisors to join our McPhee Creek construction project on a 12/ 9 FIFO roster from Perth. The successful applicants will be involved in a wide range of environmental tasks and projects with a focus on construction management.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Conduct monitoring, reporting and inspections.
- Assist with the development and review of environmental documentation.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and multiple contractors.
- Assist with environmental and heritage surveys and studies including environmental projects.
- Coordinate site environmental monitoring programs and associated data collection, management, and analysis.
- Assist with the submission of internal and statutory environmental reporting.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3 - 6 years relevant experience.
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science (or a related discipline).
- Experience working in the construction and resources sector.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Previous experience with environmental reporting.
- Knowledge of legislation, statutory approvals and other land access matters related to major mining projects in Western Australia.
