ABOUT BARROW ISLAND
Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron’s Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia’s Gorgon Project for over 10 years.
Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf stimulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch!

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent full-time position based on Barrow Island on 2:2 FIFO Roster.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Advisor to be part of our growing team on Barrow Island.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Minimising the occupational risks and ensuring compliance with contractual environmental specifications
- Assist with contractual and regulatory planning approvals
- Conduct environmental assessments to monitor compliance
- Provide guidance to all personnel in the areas of environmental programs, training and corrective actions
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science/engineering or similar
- 5+ yrs of relevant experience in a similar role
- Erosion and Sediment control Training
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
