About the Role
The Environmental advisor is responsible for providing expert environmental advice to Windlab construction team. The role involves overseeing the performance of contractors in the execution of civil and high voltage infrastructure projects. Ensuring contractor compliance is a crucial aspect of this position.
You will effectively oversee and address the intricate and multifaceted field operations, ensuring that the environmental controls in place are both effective and properly managed.
Who we are looking for!
As a key member of the construction project team, you will have extensive experience in environmental management including project development, impact assessments and construction.
Additional skills/experience
- Field environmental monitoring techniques, including vegetation, soil sampling and groundwater testing and data analysis.
- Sound analytical, auditing and investigation skills.
- Experience and ability to issue Environmental Permits for construction activities.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Experience developing and / or implementing an environmental management system including incident and risk management, compliance, due diligence, and operating procedures.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to advise on and respond to statutory obligations in respect to QLD and Commonwealth environmental legislation and government agency requirements.
- A current Australian driver’s licence
