We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of water treatment plants, with a wide range of technologies, and a strong future order book for plants to be installed in Australia and overseas.
THE ROLE
MAK Water are currently looking for a motivated Environmental Consultant with water specialist certification to join the MAK Water Team. Reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Manager, the core duties include:
- Technical assistance for investigation and remediation project planning and implementation
- Working with a broad range of clients and technical experts to develop and delivery client-focused solutions
- Interpret data from a variety of disciplines and use your understanding of environmental, planning, regulatory and policy requirements for client improvements and regulations
This is a hands-on role where the successful applicant will be involved in the operation and maintenance of all physical assets.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will:
- Hold an Environmental Engineer Degree and / or Environmental Management Degree
- Haver previous experience in Operation and Maintenance of Water Treatment, Odour Control and Sludge Management
- Hold a valid Australian Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Be familiar with current environmental laws and regulations
- Have strong problem solving capability and technical skills
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable working independently
- Be flexible to travel to site
