What you’ll do:
Reporting to the General Manager – Commercial, you will be responsible for conducting chemical, physical and biological workplace exposure assessments. You will also have a key role in project and client account management, representing us while growing your own skills and experience.
- Conduct workplace exposure assessments, including but not limited to chemical exposure, indoor air quality, dust, noise, lighting, flood and mould assessments, legionella risk assessments, and remediation and decontamination assessments
- Undertake asbestos and hazardous materials audits and risk assessments
- Manage and monitor assigned projects, to ensure they meet defined objectives
- Draft technical reports and recommend risk mitigation and management strategies
- Maintain current business, and participate in new business development leveraging your experience within the industry
- Maintain professional relationships with key accounts, regularly communicating with key stakeholders
Who you are:
We’re looking for a team player who can work both independently and collaboratively, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and solid time/project management capabilities:
- Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Science or an equivalent discipline
- Experience within the field of occupational hygiene and/or environmental health, or work health and safety systems
- An Australian drivers license
- A White Card (Construction Induction in NSW)
- You will be able to successfully undertake a police check to obtain Australian security clearance if required, as well as “Working with Children" clearance
- Able to travel to interstate and intrastate projects regularly
- Desirable Requirements
- A Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) qualification
- Specialist training and/or qualifications in Occupational Hygiene
