Environmental Health Officer
Join our team as an Environmental Health Officer:
- Conduct Environmental Health inspections, investigate complaints, and report possible breaches of relevant environment, food and public health legislation
- Provide advice on Environmental Health issues to stakeholders, in collaboration with Senior Program Leaders
- Enforce laws and regulations related to Environmental Health and public health
- Develop and implement Environmental Health programs and policies
- Provide advice and education to the public, businesses and other stakeholders on Environmental Health issues

- Base salary ranging from $79,092 per annum with competency-based increments up to $93,685 per annum, plus 11% super
- 70-hour, 9-day fortnight

We are looking for candidates with:
- Degree level qualification in Environmental Health or equivalent where specialized knowledge is required
- Experience in environmental and public health matters
- An understanding of environmental concepts associated with water, noise, and air pollution and public health
- Ability to undertake Environmental Health assessments on proposed developments
- Motivated and customer-focused professionalism
