ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this position, you will assist the Coordinator and the team with ensuring compliance and regulations are met. You will assist the team by participating in a business transformation model to achieve cultural change and succeed in accomplishing agreed service delivery outcomes.
DUTIES.
- Carry out inspections at various locations
- Respond to inquiries and provide safety advice to stakeholders
- Coordinate and issue Penalty Infringement Notices when necessary
- Assess DA's to ensure requirements of regulations
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor of Natural Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Experience in enforcement and/or litigation of Environmental Health legislation
- Demonstrated experience in Local Councils is preferred
