Salary Range is $84,688 to $98,656 plus 11%Superannuation.

What You Will Be Working On

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental HealthOfficer  to join our team of experiencedprofessionals. This is a temporary position from June 2024 toDecember 2024 to cover a leave period.

By working both independentlyand collaboratively within a team environment, you willplay a key role in protecting the public health of ourcommunity through monitoring, educating and achieving compliance ofpublic health standards. In this role, it will include thefollowing responsibilities:

• Conducting routine risk assessments of health premises andprocessing health applications.
• Providing expert advice and support to internal andexternal stakeholders on environmental and public healthmatters.
• Investigating customer requests related to noise,pollution, and other environmental nuisances.
• Ensuring the highest standards of customer service byeffectively communicating with all stakeholders and addressingtheir needs.

About You

• Qualified Environmental Health Officer with experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of health legislation, and localgovernment procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engagewith diverse communities and stakeholders.
• Possession of a valid C Class Driver's License and theability to obtain necessary certifications.
• Empathetic, culturally sensitive, motivated, and committedto delivering exceptional service to the community.
