What you'll be doing
The purpose of this position is surveillance of Environmental Health hazards in WSLHD and to work as part of the Environmental Health Team to carry out statutory duties required under Public Health legislation - including Public Health Act 2010 and Regulations, Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2008 and Regulations and the Smoke Free Environment Act and Regulations.

Selection Criteria:
- Degree or equivalent qualifications in Environmental Health
- Detailed knowledge of the NSW Public Health Act 2010, the Smoke Free Environment Act 2000, the Public Health (Tobacco) Act and their associated Regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in and understanding of Environmental Health issues, including implementation and enforcement of public health legislation and assessment of Environmental Health risks
- Good written and oral communication skills and competency in using the MS computer package (Word/Excel/Powerpoint)
- Ability to plan and complete tasks independently as well as to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current drivers licence valid within Australia.
