Environmental Health Officer

Our client is looking for an Environmental Health Officer to join their team with an immediate start.
What you'll be doing:

• Provide high level professional and technical advice to members of the public stakeholders
• Assess technical reports, development applications with relevant legislation
• Investigate reports and complaints of unacceptable risk, nuisance or statutory offences
• Manage the administration of regulatory matters
• Maintain current knowledge of Environmental Health legislation and make recommendations

What you'll need:

• Environmental Health Officer for a minimum of 3 years
• Must have strong knowledge of related legislation
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication including negotiation and conflict management skills
• Experience in preparing detailed reports and correspondence
• Strong customer service skills and effective stakeholder management skills.
• Good research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines
