Responsibilities:
· Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training.
· Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting, assisting with staff rosters, etc;
· Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the tenants and consulting suites
· Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
· Develop strong working relationships and a positive team environment.
· Ensuring correct procedure are followed by floor staff, including work schedules and cleaning methods, WHS, operations, supply and utilization of consumables and equipment etc.
· Undertake people management tasks, including performance reviews and coaching, performance and attendance issues, resolution of complaints and correct escalation procedure
· Undertake rostering and floor coverage, approval of leave applications,
· Perform cleaning audits, manage the audit rectifications and utilise the data for increasing productivity
Criteria:
· Previous experience supervising cleaning team members, including roster management.
· Build and maintain strong working relationships.
· Intermediate to advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
· Ability to work flexible hours when required.
· Proven ability to undertake supervisory tasks
· Ability to work effectively and without supervision
· Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
· Demonstrated experience in and understanding of Infection Control & Safety standards and commitment to safe practices
· Committed to customer service and meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and to remain calm in emergencies
· Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
· Understanding and adherence to infection control practices
