We offer clients a full range of directorial and production services in both pre-rendered and real- time in-engine productions for animated series and features, cinematic game trailers and virtual reality productions.
We are looking at expressions of interest of Animators for our future projects coming up within the next 6-12 months
Responsibilities:
- Prepare/create/animate and deliver interesting movement and performance of Maya based assets including characters, creatures and hard surface models per the project style and guidelines as set out by the Head of Animation and Producer.
- Collaborate with other animators and creature team members to produce consistent and quality work.
- Provide regular updates to supervisors demonstrating the progression of your work.
- With a focus on delivering quality submissions, review your work prior to each submission, ensuring it hits creative & technical notes.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of animation principles including timing, poise, purpose and intent.
About you
- At least 4-5 years of experience working in animation, 1-2 years of motion capture.
- Updated portfolio (1-2mins) containing examples of animated motion capture work as well as keyframe fundamentals.
- Must be fluent in Maya.
- Strong understanding of traditional animation techniques and the principles of character performance such as posing, timing, acting and storytelling techniques.
- Strong work ethic and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to solve problems under short deadlines
- Must be able to work within a team, independently, and take direction well
- A flexible approach while maintaining consistently high standards
- Pro-active and have excellent communication skills
- Be able to communicate creative and technical thoughts
