Form of workLO-GO Appointments QLD is seeking expressions of interest from Candidates who are interested in working within Local Government in regional / remote areas of Queensland. Throughout the year, our Clients right across Queensland seek temporary and permanent Employees within the below areas of work:
- Local Laws
- Animal Control
- Community Safety
- Rangers
- Experience conducting inspections and investigating compliance issues;
- Experience being responsible for domestic animals, holding facility maintenance and animal care, animal registrations and record keeping, animal welfare activities and educational programs and monitoring of feral animals;
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation;
- Sound written communication skills including the ability to prepare written reports and submissions;
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and corporate computer systems;
- Proactive and strong customer focus when dealing with members of the public and internal stakeholders, this includes the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in a tactful and discreet manner; and
- Current C class Queensland Drivers Licence.
For roles located within regional / remote areas of Queensland, self-contained accommodation is provided and travel expenses are covered at the beginning and end of the assignment. Attractive hourly rates will be negotiated.
