Pantoro has commenced the planning and execution phase of bringing its second underground operation online at the Scotia Deposit located 35 kilometres south of the companies 1Mtpa processing facility. In preparation for this exciting new phase of the company’s development of the project, we are seeking suitably experienced and performance driven people to register an expression of interest to join our expanding team. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be part of the startup of a new underground operation that offers exposure and the opportunity to gain and consolidate experience, from project planning to the successful execution of an underground operation that will add significant value to the overall Norseman Gold project.

The Role
The Safety and Emergency Response Training Advisor is responsible for providing safety advice and Emergency Response services to all on-site stakeholders. This role covers day-to-day safety activities in combination with emergency preparedness, response and recovery and provides a back-to-back support to their cross shift.
You will be supported in your team by a Coordinator and Manager and have access to immediate emergency clinical support through a fully equipped and staffed regional hospital.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Good interpersonal and time management skills
- Technically proficient with modern Office 365 and other digital tools
- Be able to lead, mentor and coach across a diverse workforce.
- Safety and Emergency Rescue experience in either mining (ideally underground and open pit) or Industrial, or construction.
- Possess a grounding in business management principles.

About You
- Certificate IV Health Care (Ambulance)
- Certificate III Mine Emergency Response & Rescue or relevant Emergency Response qualifications and experience in the mining industry.
- Manual LR class Driver’s License with no restrictions
- National Police Clearance

- Certificate IV OH&S / WHS
- Safety Management Systems Auditing
- Underground Mine Rescue experience

A modern accommodation village is situated within the Norseman Township with full messing facilities servicing the project. Employees will also have access to the town facilities and services, providing the best of both worlds while on site.

Pantoro is a growing Australian gold producer with established operations at the Norseman Gold Project providing ore development and stock for the new processing plant. The processing plant commenced commissioning in September 2022 and is currently achieving more than design nameplate.
