About the Company
Safety Direct Solutions Pty Ltd (SDS) is a registered Training Organisation (RTO #51632) who through the Operations Division, employs Emergency Response, Emergency Service Officers as well as Paramedics to provide services on our client’s onshore mining and offshore Oil & Gas sites across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients depend on our team to prepare, respond to and effectively manage any emergency situation.
The Position
We are seeking passionate and experienced professionals, providing high quality training.
The SDS suite of Emergency Response courses include and are not limited to:
- Road Crash Rescue
- HAZMAT
- Fire Fighting / Urban Fire
- Confined Space Rescue
- Vertical Rescue
- Breathing Apparatus
- Industrial Safety including Work at Heights & Confined Space Entry
- Advanced First Aid / First Aid / Advanced Resuscitation
- Certificate IV in Health Care
- Perform IV Cannulation
- Provide Pain Management
Training will be delivered primarily at our head office in Balcatta, however, travel to client sites nationally, may be required.
Essential Criteria
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Self-motivated and able to drive excellence in a team environment
- Ability to demonstrate currency of industry skills
- Minimum 2 years experience in training and assessment
- High level of organisation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Provide a National Police clearance
- Ability to successfully provide a Working with Children check
Desirable Criteria
- Proven instructional and assessment experience
- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (or equivalent)
