- Providing technical expertise to line leaders in managing complex performance and conduct and other ER matters, including workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, performance management and managing ill and injured employees
- Proactively supporting and developing line leader capability, including by facilitating ER training
- Contributing to the execution of ER Strategy to deliver optimal business outcomes
- Providing advice and interpretation on employment instruments and legislation
- Representing the Company in litigation proceedings, including in the Fair Work Commission
- Advising the business on issue resolution
- Supporting risk assessment activities
- Tertiary qualification in business – HR / IR
- with 3-5 years’ experience as HR Specialist or similar role
- Microsoft programs (excel, word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP desirable but not essential
- An ability to work collaboratively
- Demonstrated experience in Employee / Labour Relations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement / relationship management skills
- Strong influencing skills with senior leaders
- Strong continuous improvements skills
- Experience working with third parties
- Experience representing clients in the Fair Work Commission
- A tertiary degree in Human Resources/Employee Relations, or equivalent relevant experience
