Medic & ESO roles
These critical positions support our growth plans and underpin our commitment to safety onsite. We are looking for experienced and qualified Medic and 2 ESO's who have demonstrated industry experience to join us.
Medic - Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response Leadership: Respond to and manage all on-site emergency situations, providing patient-focused medical support and pre-hospital care.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain compliance with poisons licensing, medical records management, and support site-wide health, hygiene, and safety initiatives.
- Injury Management & Rehabilitation: Facilitate the timely recovery of injured or ill personnel through prompt treatment, liaison with medical professionals, and MRL Injury Management Team.
- Stakeholder Relations & Confidentiality: Protect patient privacy, uphold confidentiality, and build trust within the organization.
- Workforce Development & Capacity Building: Enhance emergency response capabilities through training and development of emergency services and site personnel in pre-hospital care and first aid.
Medic – Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor in Paramedical Science or higher, with an unrestricted AHPRA registration
- D&A Testing qualifications
- Must have a MC or HR Drivers licenece
- Previous heavy industry experience in a similar role, ideally within the mining industry
ESO - Key Responsibilities
- Lead Incident Response: Supervise, coordinate, and lead an emergency response during training drills and real-life emergency situations.
- Develop Emergency Response Team: Contribute to the training and preparation of the mine's Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Build Workforce Capability: Deliver emergency response and security training to enhance the overall readiness of the workforce.
- Provide First Aid & Medical Care: Assist site medics in the delivery of professional first aid and pre-hospital care to site personnel and business partners.
- Maintain Operational Readiness: Ensure operational readiness through meticulous housekeeping and proactive equipment maintenance.
ESO - Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III Mines Emergency Response and Rescue
- Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Care
- Must have a MC or HR Drivers licenece
- Previous heavy industry experience in a similar role, ideally within the mining industry
