  • Part time (0.4), fixed term (12-month) position at our Hawthorn campus
  • HEW5 salary plus 17% superannuation
About the Role
Join The ESOS Compliance Team in this dynamic role where you can make a meaningful impact on compliance functions and contribute to the overall success of the University.
The ESOS officer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting student course variations and other matters to the relevant regulatory authorities. This role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with the University’s rules and regulations and the requirements of the ESOS Framework.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the ESOS Compliance Team, contributing to process improvements throughout the student lifecycle. You will have the chance to deepen your understanding of legislative requirements and university policies, while also supporting operational needs and driving efficiencies within the team.
Additionally, you will be required to support and work flexibly across the ESOS Compliance Team to assist with operational needs and enable efficiencies, contribute to other compliance functions and undertake other duties as directed.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
  • Current knowledge of Federal and State Government policies and regulations related to international education, training and employment (e.g. ESOS National Code) and a broad knowledge of Australian educational systems and frameworks, and government policies.
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in international higher education in Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in using the Australian Government’s Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS).
  • Exceptional administrative and organisational skills, including time management and excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks, and work under pressure and to deadlines.
Qualifications
A degree with subsequent relevant experience and/or extensive experience and specialist expertise
