Form of workMernda Hills Christian College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Education Support Officer to join their primary campus. This role is would suit an individual who wants to have the school holidays free.
The focus of the Education Support Officer is to assist individual students or small groups of students during learning and extra-curricular activities, including sports days and excursions, as directed by the classroom teacher. In addition, the Education Support Officer also assists in the preparation, distribution and collection of classroom materials and administrative duties, such as the keeping of student and equipment records.
Ideally, you’ll bring the following repertoire of experience to your role:
- Certificate III in School-Based Education Support (preferred)
- 2-3 years of industry experience
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Mernda Hills Christian College provides Christian education from Foundation to Year 12. Candidates must be willing to support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College, based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
