Estimator in Civil Infrastructure required with a growing progressive Civil Construction Company.
Applicants with over 5 years' experience in the Civil Construction Industry Preferred

Responsibilities:
- Read/interpret plans, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Quantity take-offs for civil works (such as, foundation piles, footings, shoring walls, excavation, filling and compaction, concrete, and asphalt pavements, etc).
- Quantity take-offs and tender submissions for demolition works.
- Calculate costs and estimate timelines.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and Governments where required.
- Work closely with the manager, site personnel, various consultants (surveyors, construction managers, architects, and other engineering professionals) to plan and develop a solid budget for construction projects.
- Write reports to determine financial costs for labour, materials, budgets, and what contractors/subcontractors should use for the construction project.
- Use the required software to calculate costs, check quotes and submit tenders.
- Deliver final estimates of budgets and cost plans.
- Meet deadlines.
Minimum requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction-related qualifications, or other qualified estimation certificates.
- Must hold a WHS White Card to certify that you have completed the working safely on construction sites course.
- Ability to assess site conditions from physical inspections and interpret surveys and investigations.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Must be proficient in English and well spoken with clarity.
- Strong analytical skills to provide accurate estimates of projects.
- Experience in using computer/estimating software. We are open to purchasing a licence for a software that he/she uses.
Working Conditions:
- Work is either based in an office or at a construction site.
- Safety equipment must be worn when working on-site.
- Tight deadlines are expected when working on a tender.
