- Review and prioritise incoming RFQ's and allocate pricing work out to the estimating team in consultation with General Manager
- Take assigned projects and summarise overall requirement to be able to plan time and resources required to price.
- Work with the General Manager to see if we have done any work with the Architect on the project prior to commencing pricing.
- Source any material or external pricing required to be able to put price together.
- Price and present targeted project to provide the client with the most complete and professional price.
- Quote follow up of targeted projects by best means (phone, email, in person), note this will include some jobs not priced by the Targeted Estimator but considered to be best followed up by them.
- Attendance of pre-tender meetings (nationwide) to secure targeted projects, including post tender negotiations to secure best pricing and contractual terms for the business.
- Pricing variations for the targeted projects for the duration of the project.
- Continue to build relationships with key customers and influencers
- 5 years' experience in a Estimator or similar role.
- Preferable experience in custodial projects
- Substantial level of skill in the Estimation of Building construction materials in respect to the supply on installation of Door products
- Motivated to grow and develop yourself and your team and overall site capability.
- Ability to communicate satisfactorily with management, clients, specifiers and subcontractors.
- Excellent planning, time management and prioritisation skills
- Able to engage broadly, multi-task, and
- Have strong systems / analytical skills.
