Summit Renovations WA’s most experienced renovation companies, offering existing home owners’ solutions to improve their homes to suit their lifestyle. Summit Renovations design and build quality functional extensions and renovations that blend with existing homes.
We are currently looking for an Estimator to join our Renovations team in Myaree. In the Estimator position you will be required to estimate a range of renovations and extensions including interpreting contract documentation and producing accurate estimate in a timely manner.
The following technical competencies are required for this role:
- Minimum 2+ years in an Estimating role
- Providing estimates for all stages of the design process
- Ad hoc pricing for upgrades
- Estimating product and material selections
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company specifications
- Resolving issues and queries in the enquiry stage with sales consultants
- Ability to realistically advise on budget issues
- Working with the sales team to improve sales conversion rates
- Estimates for variations, sketches and contracts
- Previous experience in renovations/home improvements preferred though not essential.
Our ideal candidate will additionally have the following experience:
- Excellent understanding of residential construction methods especially renovations
- Attention to detail, accuracy and accountability in sales estimating
- Effective communication to all stakeholders of the business
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively liaise with all stakeholders of the business
- Team player that gets along well with colleagues and also has the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and time frame requirements of the business
