ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator/Scheduler to join our dynamic team, based in Osborne Park, in a permanent full-time position.
Responsible for both Sales Estimating and Production Estimating for all new builds. This includes accurately interpreting plans and drawing to assemble the ‘Bill of Quantities’ and break down costs in a timely manner. Additionally, the role undertakes research of materials and liaises with suppliers to negotiate the best deals and supplier agreements. The role will be accountable for working closely with the Sales team and the Construction team, ensuring timely and ongoing communications to support the build process and achieve build targets.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes;
- Experience in Estimating in the residential construction industry, including the ability to accurately read and interpret residential building plans and drawings.
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction (highly desirable).
- Strong analytical, time management and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and monitor residential construction programs.
- Good communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to influence, build and maintain networks with a range of stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as be part of a broader team, use initiative and exercise judgement in an environment with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Good computer skills including the ability to utilise a range of information systems (MS Excel is essential & Click Homes & Databuild is highly desirable).
