About the roleLead the estimating function and oversee our scheduling and Production Services team to manage costs, resources, and labour needed to produce our label products for MCC’s customers. Your duties will include reviewing data, creating quotations and job creation. Additionally, you will support our production scheduling, material ordering and warehouse operations This is a great opportunity to progress your career and be part of a global organisation.
This permanent full-time role will consist of 38 hours per week.
In this exciting and varied role, you will:
- Lead our scheduling and Production Services team to achieve MCC and customer expectations.
- Complete quotations for all label work through optimal press and process selection. Build processes and bill of materials for each quotation.
- Review quoting margins to the necessary authority levels.
- Create jobs in an accurate and timely manner, review jobs to ensure they are configured to maximize efficiency.
- Produce business tender Estimates as required and in consultation with management for new and existing work.
- Produce business tender documents as required and in consultation with management for new and existing work.
- Liaise with different departments for production efficiencies and to ensure we are delivering on time to our customers.
- Previous experience as an estimator or similar role.
- Outstanding mathematics and IT abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills & strong problem-solving abilities.
