About the role.
This opportunity will oversee JLL’s ethics and compliance program for Australasia, which includes Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. You will play a pivotal role in providing support, advice, and enablement to all business lines in Australasia, addressing a range of ethics matters and compliance with laws, regulations, and JLL policies.
The role will also collaborate with our OneLegal team to advise on, design, and implement effective compliance programs, raise awareness, and assess ethics and compliance risk.
Day to day you will be working with various business process stakeholders (Finance, HR, Technology, Operations) to incorporate compliance policies and deliver training programs tailored to local business needs, emphasising corporate values, culture, and ethical leadership.
About you.
You’ll hold a high level of personal integrity and a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, with at least 7 years professional level ethics, legal, or compliance experience. A persuasive and superior communicator, you’ll be able to influence diverse stakeholders in a complex matrix environment.
Strong project management and organisational skills are required as well as being naturally team oriented, with experience building productive cross-functional relationships. Also important is excellent analytical and quantitative skills with experience developing strategic solutions, as well as the ability to design and deliver effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics.
Real estate industry experience is an advantage, and knowledge about our key risk areas (AML KYC, privacy, bribery, conflicts of interest, modern slavery) is also very highly regarded.
