The role
The position on offer is a full time role, for an initial period of 3 months, with potential to extend.
In this role, you will be involved in a range of general commercial, consumer, and general compliance matters. From engaging with all areas of the business, this role will have you working with business leaders to ensure that legal compliance and risk is managed, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to advise the wider business on all commercial activities.
You will provide legal support to the business on a broad spectrum of matters, including:
· Provide legal advice and support on a variety of complex legal issues;
· Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements, including supply, distribution,
consulting, non-disclosure and research;
· Manage and resolve disputes and litigation;
· Stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulatory changes;
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements; and
· Provide legal training and support to the business as needed.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have at least 8+ years' post admission experience, general commercial legal experience, exposure to competition law would be a bonus, but not essential. You will have a proactive and positive demeanour, be commercial and results focussed, work well independently and also as part of a wider team.
