The Role:
The community relations and alumni team spearhead philanthropic support & engagement from key stakeholders of the institution. As part of this team you'll be tasked with the orchestration and execution of alumni and fundraising events, both in-person and digital formats, from concept to fruition. You'll deliver innovative and captivating event experiences that align with overall strategic objectives.
You'll be able to demonstrate:
- Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and coordinate experiential projects and events from conception to completion.
- Communication Skills: Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing high-caliber reports and briefing materials.
- Program Understanding: Familiarity with alumni, fundraising, or membership programs, including an understanding of differing target audiences and constituent lifecycles.
- Experience: Minimum five years' experience in delivering engaging in-person and digital experiential projects, prioritising gold standard customer experiences.
- Digital Proficiency: High-level proficiency in digital tools including databases, CRM, and event management platforms.
- Proficiency in setting and managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Cross-cultural communication skills, with proficiency in multiple languages desirable.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for securing venues and vendors.
- A university degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
Please note: This is a fixed-term 10-month contract opportunity, so you will require the relevant visa/right to work in Australia for this period.
