This exciting role involves the management of Shannons Event Pow and delivering insurance adjacent strategic initiatives. The role also involves building and strengthening external relationships with the motoring enthusiast community and business partners to maintain strong brand reputation, actively promoting the Shannons value proposition. Contribute to Shannons customer experiences and outcomes, productivity, and revenue opportunities through actively developing and executing Shannons strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Accountable for building an Event roadmap, planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of Shannons Events by creating a destination for motoring enthusiasts
- Develop event strategies and timelines, ensuring adherence to budgets, deadlines, and risk processes
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues and third parties to secure necessary resources within budget constraints
- Oversee event logistics, including interactive experiences, displays, catering, transportation, and any other logistics as necessary
- Plan event marketing and promotion activity for pre and post event, including activations, social media engagement and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to promote and celebrate events, driving brand awareness and consideration.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence, engage and lead others
- Event management experience
- Intimate understanding of motoring industry, motorsport, and motoring enthusiast community
- The ability to develop strong relationships with Centres Of Influence (COI’s) and VIP’s
- Project management experience.
