Event Manager

GRACELANDS is a multi-award winning Wedding Venue Based in the beautiful Forresters Beach on the New South Wales Central Coast. Affectionately known as “Gracie”, our venue and teams’ reputation & passion stems from a love of everything weddings, style, nature, customer service, food & beverage, and with no detail to small.
We are on the hunt for a truly dedicated and enthusiastic Event Manager to join our team (which is more like a family of friends), with a 12-month contract on offer. The role is part-time based primarily on Thursday & Friday in the venue as your office days, with Saturday being your main event day/night.
This exciting opportunity exists for an experienced & proven Event Manager who loves the rush of hospitality and having good time while doing so! Our ideal candidate is a dynamic professional who knows how to lead a team and is proactive with a willingness to roll up their sleeves being a must, as set up & physical venue preparation with the team being on-going.

Required experience & attributes to be successful in the role:
- Minimum 1-2years in a similar event role capacity.
- Passion for event planning & weddings, and a love for creating exceptional customer experiences.
- A high level of customer relationship building and a fine eye for detail is paramount.
- Self-driven, energetic & organised.
- Well presented, confident professional, vivacious, and friendly personality.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Be adept at multi-tasking, and enjoy a fast paced environment with strong time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a good sense of humour who doesn’t mind a good laugh & chat in the office!
- Create and deliver staff briefings / run-sheets.
- Experience managing teams, events, and project management processes.
- Strong computer skills. Ideally across Gmail and Microsoft Office.
- Must have the Rights to Work in Australia.
