About the role
We now have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team as our Manager, Events & Client Experience in our Sydney Office. Reporting to our Director, Client Relations & High Jewelry, you will be responsible for leading all strategy and execution of events and Client Experiences. You will play an integral role in building stronger relationships with our clients through regional events, client events and presentations, in store events and partnership events.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Deliver High Jewelry Event Execution
- Develop and implement Tiffany's regional High Jewelry events, specifically in logistics and technical plans, venue arrangement, site applications and operations duties required for staging the events
- Identify, evaluate and supervise the appointed contractors/services suppliers to ensure the services are delivered in accordance to their scope, roles and responsibilities, and monitor the progress of all cooperating parties.
- Technical proposals with Client Relations Director for open tenders invitation, actively involved in the process of negotiation and appointments, and maintain updated supplier database
- Produce analytical reporting on performance of events, including photo records of events
- Coordination with internal departments
- Build, assist and maintain control of event budgets
Local Coordination for International High Jewelry Events
- Coordinate client attendance lists, Client Advisors, and details of travel plans
- Develop Client Experience Roadmap to offer personalised experiences for each one of our Blue Book Clients
- Partner with Client Advisors and Retail Leaders to entertain and engage VIC clients internationally
Lead & Execute In Store Activations and Client Experience
- Focus on Clienteling Experience enhancements in store, ensuring high quality execution and monitoring
- Work with local teams to develop Daily Base Business driving events and in store activation calendar and create new in-store event concepts
- Monitor market trends and competitive activities on various Client Experience topics
Identify & Develop Potential Partnership Opportunities
- Work closely with Market Leaders and Client Relationship Managers to drive partnership initiatives
- Identify potential partnership opportunities that can work for different countries
- Liaise with internal and external parties to formulate opportunities for new client acquisition
Client Gifting & Hospitality Management
- Support Retail teams to utilise client gifting guidelines or hospitality opportunities to support relationship development
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum five years of event management, experience in luxury market preferred
- Solid experience in executing different types and scale of events
- Agency management experience
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast paced environment, grasp concepts and new procedures quickly
- Ability to deliver quality work under tight working timeline and manage outside vendors efficiently
