What you'll be doing
- Implement and project manage events (in-person and virtual), from concept to execution and measurement to deliver against organisational objectives. Arrange and coordinate services (venue, signage, catering, display, equipment, transport etc)
- Deliver a consistent and outstanding brand experience for all events that meets/exceeds stakeholders brief
- Ensure positioning, messaging, goals, deliverables and tactics are set and achieved for every event - demonstrated by post event reporting and stakeholder feedback
- Ideate and deliver events that demonstrate creative thinking and innovation and always look for opportunities to evolve
- Develop and prepare documents to seek endorsement and support of event proposals and plans; and set/maintain the standard of events at Group level that others in business can self-serve
- Oversee work conducted by suppliers
- Send event communications using marketing campaign software
- Travel to all event locations (Sydney and interstate) as required
- Contingency planning, management of event contractual requirements and OH&S requirements in accordance with business obligations
- Budget development and management
- Operational and administration management (floorplans, runsheets, nametags, materials, packages, gift bags, registration lists etc)
- Collaborate with Group Marketing team and demonstrate value to the business by supporting sponsorship initiatives through events, activations and experiences, as well as other ad hoc items as required

- Multiple well-executed events that follow best practice process and are cost0effective
- Strong relationships with stakeholders that fosters trust and influence, and acceptance of proposed strategies and recommendations
- Refreshed standard of events that have been communicated and adopted by those in the business that can self-serve
Challenges
Shifting direction and various stakeholders to appease; underestimating the complexity of the event/business; getting the right balance of creative and standardised approach

- External stakeholders: Board members, investors, tenant customers, Government agencies, event suppliers, venue suppliers, PR agency
