The Housing Industry Association is Australia’s peak residential building industry body. Our primary role is to represent and advance the interests of our members. We are currently seeking to employ an Events & Partnership Coordinator to join our team based in Varsity Lakes.
As the Events & Partnership Coordinator, you will be responsible for successfully delivering the Gold Coast & Northern Rivers (GC&NR) events and partnership program, managing and achieving the budget and providing support for the Gold Coast & Northern Rivers members and team. You will ensure that the region is achieving agreed KPI’s in Events and Partnerships as well as the accuracy in organisation of and the smooth running of HIA events of the Gold Coast & Northern Rivers region.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage, promote and expand HIA Housing Awards in GC&NR region, including the coordination of entries, judging and event delivery
Achieve defined and agreed targets (KPI’s) for the GC/NR events programs including award entries, event attendee numbers and overall program expenditure
Delivery of quality events that meet the needs of HIA GC/NR members and support HIA strategies
Assist in the development, promotion and expansion of HIA’s Building Women program in GC/NR
Financial management - Development and management of annual events budgets and forecasting
Meet established Budget targets as required in Events and Partnership
Oversee targeted member communications including Social Media, Website, EDM’s etc
Timeliness of reporting and meeting other administration timelines
Participating as part of the HIA team
Attend to GC/NR office counter enquiries and direct to appropriate staff members
Supporting the regions strategic plan for Membership Retention
Provide a client-friendly service that caters for, and delivers on, HIA’s member needs and ensures the delivery of quality customer service
Work co-operatively with other staff and business units to achieve organisational objectives
Maintain high standard work practices and ensure integrity, respect and confidentiality
Utilise and learn software and technology as required
Other duties as required.
