MAYDAY Recruitment are seeking a dynamic Events Programs Manager to lead the evolution and delivery of a diverse program of activities and events. - Manage and oversee various programs, including Debating, Volunteering, Performing Opportunities, Revues, and the Palladian Cup program
- Coordinate campus events, flagship events like Welcome Fest and Festival of Creativity, and initiatives promoting diversity and student engagement
- Develop and implement strategies for international students, ensuring inclusive services like ISL hub and orientation programs
- Collaborate with outlets to enhance engagement and awareness
- Maintain and develop key relationships across campus, including partnerships with university departments and student organizations
- Coordinate marketing plans for programming areas and ensure effective utilization of marketing opportunities
- Manage the day-to-day administration and finances of the Events team, including overseeing budget lines
- Provide leadership and development opportunities for Programs Coordinator, student casuals, and volunteers
- Report on events, budgets, and relevant committees as required
- Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety policies, procedures, and instructions
- At least 5 years of event and project management experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the youth market and experience in youth development
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire staff and volunteers
- Proficiency in computer-based systems, including Microsoft Office applications
- Availability for events outside regular office hours
- Practical understanding of WH&S and EEO principles
- Knowledge of university-based organizations
- Possession of a current NSW Driver's License
