About the Role
This an exciting opportunity to build a sense of community and connection within the Australian grains industry.
You will organise and lead a range of innovative events and programs from ideation through to delivery, seeking to connect and engage growers like never before. It's all about creating memorable experiences and driving success!
About You
Events will be your passion! You will thrive in delivering innovative and engaging experiences, always staying one step ahead with your proactive and forward-thinking approach. You'll cultivate a high-performing events function and enjoy building strong relationships.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Develop, manage, and deliver events, programs and national activities, with excellence, aligning them with strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors and partners.
  • Manage and deliver grower programs, including with alumni cohorts.
  • Engage and oversee event contractors and third parties.
  • Provide events support to the Grower Engagement team for regional grower activities.
  • Manage the events budget and conduct reporting and analysis.
  • Identify potential new event and program opportunities.
To be successful you will have:
  • Experienced events, programs, or project manager.
  • Tertiary qualification in event management or business, or have relevant professional experience.
  • Self-motivated, and driven to meet goals in a collaborative team.
  • Ability to build and sustain key relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop reports & budgets.
  • Proficient in managing sponsorship deliverables & negotiating contracts.
  • Problem-solving & decision-making skills & negotiation ability.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative & excellent attention to detail.
