Our culture celebrates diversity and prioritises wellbeing and belonging, ensuring our people can thrive.About The Role:The position/s will assist in the supervision of the (VCAA) examination the General Achievement Test (GAT) in June 2024, ensuring the fair and consistent conduct of examinations in an environment that enables students to perform at their best. Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the authorised school personnel are made aware of any student who does not obey or observe instructions given by the supervisor in the examination room.
- Ensuring that suitable arrangements are available if a student's behaviour requires their removal from an examination room.
- Ensuring all response material is collected and packed according to VCAA requirements.
- The safekeeping and handing over of the completed response material to the VCAA courier.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and customer service ethic
- Previous experience in education, customer service or events
- A calm and patient demeanour
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think on your feet
- Willingness to learn and absorb new information and written procedures
- All Exam supervisors will be required to undertake training as required by the VCAA
- Related to or associated with any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024 at Bendigo TAFE.
- Teaching any student required to sit the GAT or any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024.
- Tutoring a student required to sit the GAT or any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024 at your institution.
- Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2024, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials at Bendigo TAFE.
- Employed by the school as a teacher (excluding CRT) or member of the administration staff.
