About Blackwater
Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA's Blackwater Mine is one of Queensland's largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 21 kilometres from the town of Blackwater.
The BUMA Australia team have been performing truck and excavator pre-strip operations at Blackwater since May 2012. Over 44 million bank cubic metres of material is mined by our fleets every year.
Job description:
We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Production Operators interested in joining our team at Blackwater Mine. We have full time opportunities available which include an even time roster, camp accommodation/LAFHA and company provided bus transport!
Profile description:
About You
We are seeking applications from candidates with the following experience/ licenses:
Proven experience operating 600t excavator or higher
Demonstrated experience within open cut mining
Production and safety oriented with a focus on achieving results for both yourself and for the company
High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
Your key focus is safety with a high attention to detail to abide by site procedures
Current and valid drivers license
Current Covid19 vaccination certificate
Standard 11 would be advantageous
