As an Executive Assistant, you will:
Manage the Dean of Medicine’s office to ensure effective administrative processes and procedures and systems, which support the School’s operational requirements and evolve with the changing needs of the growing School
Manage and assist with events as requested by the School Manager / Dean of Medicine, including visits, events, VIP visits and other school functions as required
Manage communications within the University and with government departments, peak medical bodies, other medical schools, other stakeholders and members of parliament, assigning appropriate priority to ensure timely decisions
Provide high level executive support to the Dean of Medicine including management of the Dean of Medicine’s diary (meetings, teaching duties, functions, clinical commitments and professional development activities) and drafting of correspondence on behalf of the Dean of Medicine
Provide high quality secretariat support to the School including preparation and distribution of agendas and attachments, attendance at meetings, minutes and implementation of agreed resolutions
To be successful, you’ll have:
Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures
Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone and written issue
Project or Events management experience
Calendar management
