Executive Assistant
Temporary Full-time (Parental Leave contract)
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Office of the General Manager team as an Executive Assistant on a temporary, full-time (35 hours per week) basis for a parental leave cover.
About the role
This role is responsible for providing high level administrative assistance to our Mayor.
You will deliver a range of executive level support services, including but not limited to:
· Liaison for Executive enquiries and correspondence
· Diary and email management
· Providing administrative support for council meetings and briefings
· Assist in coordinating civic functions
This is a diverse role which would require you to undertake any other duties, projects or tasks as directed which are within your skills, competence, and training.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
· Has previous experience working in a similar, agile environment, providing support to senior level managers.
· Has qualifications in Business Administration or related discipline.
· Is quick on their feet, with meticulous attention to detail, and applies a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
· Can demonstrate experience prioritising work tasks, meeting tight deadlines and managing competing work demands.
· Has a positive, friendly and professional attitude
Benefits
This is a temporary full time (35 hours per week) role until March 2025, with a salary range between $72,683 - $80,678 per annum based on demonstrated competencies and experience + superannuation.
