About the Role
To provide professional executive and administration support to the Director Development in achieving strategic goals. key objectives and day to day operational effectiveness.
To provide high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders, and ensure effective planning and delivery of administrative tasks, workflow management, reporting and onoing process improvement to the Directorate to meet Council's operating and legislative requirements.
Essential Criteria
- Business Administration or related qualifications.
- Extensive experience in providing high-level administrative
and executive support. - Demonstrated computer literacy with advanced skills
in the use of Microsoft Office and other software packages such as Adobe
Acrobat. - Excellent organisational and time management
skills, with a proven ability to multi-task, work in a high pressured-environment
and collaborate with others to meet outcomes with tight deadlines. - Highly developed interpersonal and communication
skills, with a demonstrated commitment to customer service and proven strengths
in negotiation, relationship management and conflict resolution. - Highly motivated and solutions focused with an
ability to think laterally, plan ahead and make sound judgements. - Comprehensive experience in minute taking and agenda/business paper preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an environment that
requires sensitivity to commercial and political matters with proven discretion
and judgement in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. - Current Class C Drivers Licence.
For the Executive Assistant - Development position, we offer a salary
range of $726-$818 gross per 20 hour fortnight (dependent on skills, qualifications
and experience) plus superannuation. Hours of work are 9am-3pm with a one hour lunch break, working 2 days per week (may be Monday, Tuesday or Friday).
