What's the role?
News Corp Australia is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide high level administrative support to the General Manager, NSW Sales for a 12 month contract starting early 2024!
Provide day to day administrative support to the leadership team (including preparation of documents/correspondence, organising meetings/agendas/minute taking and diary management for the General Manager)
Prepare and support in the completion of WIP documentation
Join team meetings and take necessary actions to circulate
Support in planning key department meetings, capture and circulate actions
Support team with collation of reports/documents and presentations when needed
Manage financial approval requests, budget and divisional expenses for the LT
Manage and process purchase orders and invoices for the team as required
Reconciliation of team expenses
Manage invoices
Booking and management of travel requirements including flights, accommodation & car hire as required
Organise and coordinate any team events and functions including attendee management
Develop and maintain an ongoing communications plan
Carry out day-to-day ad hoc tasks that enable the LT and team to operate smoothly and efficiently
Respond to queries and requests as required
Who are you?
- Your experience aligns well with the responsibilities of this position
- You're upbeat, can-do proactive attitude; calm under pressure
- You have excellent organisational and planning skills
- You are an effective communicator with the capability to develop relationships on behalf of executive and influence both internally and externally
- You have the confidence to professionally "manage" upwards or raise issues with executives as required
- You are competent in Information gathering and information monitoring skills
- Your are self-sufficient and have the ability to make judgments and decisions
- You are aware and practice confidentiality
- You have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- You are flexible and have the desire to contribute to the cultural transformation within a team or organisation
