Details: Reporting to the Executive Group Manger, Corporate Services, the Executive Branch Manager (EBM), Governance role will lead a range of functions on behalf of CSD to deliver commitments to Ministers, government, and the public.
The Executive Branch Manager, Governance will provide strong leadership to develop and improve performance in the branch and deliver a range of services including, ministerial services, governance, freedom of information, delegations, coordinating and reporting. The EBM will also be responsible for implementing key projects, strategic planning, delivery of business improvement initiatives and building and maintaining key relationships across the directorate and the ACT Public Service.
The EBM Governance will provide strategic and operational advice and support to the Director-General, the Deputy-Director General and executive on corporate governance and lead the implementation of strategies and systems to assist in the delivery of directorate objectives and comply with legislative and statutory obligations.
This position works closely with other corporate areas at the whole of government and directorate level and has significant contact with each Ministerial Office, executives from other agencies, and business unit heads across the directorate.

Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $274,784 - $285,773 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $244,201.
Contract: The successful applicant will be placed on a short-term contract from 1 July 2024 until 8 January 2025 with the possibility of extension up to two years.
