Position Purpose:
Lead and Drive delivery and embedding of an upgraded Enterprise Resource Planning/Enterprise Administration platform, including stakeholder engagement, project coordination, project management oversight, risk mitigation, project resourcing, documentation and budget management.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive delivery strategy and plan for the Enterprise Resource Planning upgrade and all associated business and process changes.
- Oversee the planning, prioritisation, implementation, and tracking of multiple programs simultaneously to ensure that they are on time, within budget, and meet the program's objectives
- Manage and provide leadership to a team of project managers, business architects, developers, testers and other
- IT professionals to ensure that they are aligned with the program's goals and objectives.
- Plan and manage the program’s budget, including ensuring that expenses are within budget and tracking expenses to ensure they are allocated appropriately
- Identify, evaluate and manage program risks, including developing contingency plans and mitigation strategies to address potential issues
- Ensure that effective communication channels are established and maintained between program stakeholders, including senior management, project teams and external stakeholders
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale and complex IT software replacement programs or portfolios in a highly regulated environment under a matrix accountability structure
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT software projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic thinking that demonstrates ability to recognise and understand patterns, trends and connections between situations to develop new and innovative approaches to complex problems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or ITIL.
