North East Arnhem LandEmpowered Communities (NEAL EC) are seeking a dynamic, collaborative and experienced Executive Manager to lead the delivery of Empowered Communities reforms within the region.
This is an opportunity to work right in the heart of Indigenous-led reform, in a culturally and historically significant region, supporting the regional traditional and cultural governance model behind the 13- clans of senior Yolngu leaders, the Dilak Council.
This Nhulunbuy based role sits with the Empowered Communities team through the Yothu Yindi Foundation (YYF). YYF was established in 1990 to promote Yolngu cultural development with community leaders and persons of authority from five regional clan groups and currently leads NEAL Empowered Communities.
NEAL EC will implement Yothu Yindi Dilak Council’s priorities and long-term East Arnhem Regional Development Agenda driving engagement across the region.
