The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and leading a team of four direct reports, the Executive Manager People & Culture will be responsible for providing strategic and operational P&C management across a diverse range of services This person will be a true HR generalist, working closely with an established executive team to lead HR initiatives including recruitment and onboarding performance management, employment relations, remuneration and learning & development. As the Executive Manager of People & Culture you will be responsible for:
Enabling true business partnering to drive operational success and enable high quality service delivery
Understanding a complex Industrial Relations environment, with an ability to negotiate Enterprise Agreements within the human services sector.
Assessing and managing people risks across operational services and providing advice and support to the Executive team during crisis management.
Developing and implementing people and culture strategies and initiatives to support the organisation’s long term vision and mission
About You
We are seeking a proven people leader from the Human Services sector, bringing commercial leadership and comparable proven track records gained within a similar environment. Candidates with the following skillsets and experience are encouraged to apply:
Tertiary degree or qualifications in the Human Resource Management space.
Demonstrated experience leading a P&C team in the Human Services sector.
Track record in uplifting capability in organisational development, policies, systems and processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Previous exposure to leading a values-based organisation with strong community focus.
The Organisation
Warrah is an experienced provider of quality services supporting adults and children living with disability, in Sydney’s Northwest. Warrah provides a broad range of services, including Warrah Specialist School, Residential and Day Services, Warrah Biodynamic Farm and Farm Shop. Since 2020, Warrah staff numbers have increased from 180 to over 270 in response to operational changes and increasing one-on-one participant support. Warrah is now well positioned to implement gradual growth strategies across their services, including Supported Independent Living, Short Stay, In-Home Support and micro enterprises, whilst also optimising their support services.
