The Executive Manager, Agribusiness for QLD North plays a critical leadership role as an expert in agribusiness banking, risk and strategic planning. While leading a high-performing team of agribusiness bankers, you will focus on delivering successful outcomes for our customers. In addition, you will utilise your coaching ability to mentor and engage your team and our clients, focusing on growing quality business across Agribusiness Banking. This role will ideally be based in Rockhampton and there will be frequent travel required as part of leading a team across a large geography.
More specifically, you will:
· Lead and manage a dedicated Agribusiness Banking team and grow the team!
· Utilise your industry expertise to understand and identify opportunities and develop strategies accordingly in an ever-changing banking landscape;
· Coach and mentor the team, supporting and maintaining a high-performance culture whilst building solid relationships to surprise and delight customers;
· Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions;
· Have a strong market presence and ability to lead the execution of regional and organisational priorities.
We want to hear from you if you:
· Have a proven track record in leadership, capable of motivating and coaching an agribusiness banking team to develop; customer focus, risk and credit skills whilst driving strong sustainable growth;
· Possess a keen interest in being part of the broader QLD/NT leadership team, supporting our growth agenda;
· Are highly engaged and motivated with a strong focus on sustainable success through maximising team performance;
· Have exceptional commercial acumen and credit understanding;
· Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer-centric and aspiring senior people leader who shares a passion for innovation and building businesses in the agricultural sector. Applicants with a tertiary qualification in an Agricultural, Business, Finance or Economic discipline would be highly regarded!
